Glass process laboratory
The glass process laboratory is a laboratory in which glass is prepared from raw materials, then heated to a glass paste by high-temperature heating, and cast into a mold steel plate to form a glass and then placed in an annealing furnace to eliminate internal stress. In the laboratory, there are experimental tables for blending raw materials, moisture-proof medicine cabinets for storing medicines, precision electronic scales for measuring materials, high-temperature electric furnaces for melting glass, annealing furnaces, glass grinding and polishing machines, etc., in addition to glass high-temperature viscometers. It can be heated to 1500oC, and it is known that the viscosity curve is very helpful for the subsequent processing of the glass.
